An investment and development firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Ironwood specializes in the development and financing of public/private partnerships, infrastructure, affordable housing and commercial real estate and private equity investments. Founded in 2001, Ironwood principals approach investment and development with the highest standards of integrity and honesty. Our most important asset is our reputation. 

Ironwood has invested in or developed over $300 million of transactions including affordable housing, school development, power plants, and residential lot and subdivision developments. Private equity investments include a manufacturer of railroad ties from recycled plastic, commercial real estate investments, educational firms, and a continuous care retirement community. We try to focus our private equity investments on opportunistic small to medium size positions.  Currently, Ironwood has over $100 million of ongoing transactions under various stages of development, and current operating companies generate over $5 million per year in annual revenues. Though Ironwood has grown tremendously since inception, we continue to emphasize quality over quantity and remain deliberate and conservative in our plans for future growth.

Geography

We have expanded our base of operations from the Southeastern U.S. to the Pacific Islands and currently have a number of ongoing development activities and are exploring other opportunities in that region. Currently we have developed and we manage 574 affordable housing units in seven communities in Guam and Saipan.
